Cigarettes 🚬

The first similarities to cigarettes were invented by the American Indians. They began to wrap tobacco in straw, reed, corn leaves. In 1492, Columbus on one of the islands in the Caribbean (it was possibly the island of Tobago, from the name of which, according to some historians, the word “tobacco” came from) met an old Indian smoking man (hence the traditional symbol of a tobacco shop – pipe smoking Indian). Tobacco smoking is the first among the preventable causes of death, but between 3.5 and 5.4 million people die each year as a result of health problems caused by smoking [17] [18]. According to expert estimates, ~ 167, 82 million people have died in the world for the entire time of smoking.
