Exercise 250

It was eight o’clock in the morning and time for me to go to work. I looked out of the window, it was raining hard. “You will get wet through if you go out now,” said my mother. ”No, I…,” I answered, “I will take an umbrella.” We have five umbrellas in the house, but when i wanted to take one, i founded that that there was not one that i could use: They all were torn and broken. So i took them all and carried them to the umbrella maker, saying that i would call for the umbrellas on my way home in the evening. When i went to have lunch in the afternoon, it still was raining really hard. I went to the nearest cafe, and sat down at a table. A few minutes later a young women came in and sat down at the same table as me. When i finished my lunch and was ready to leave, i absent -mindedly took her umbrella and started for the exit. She stoped me saying that i had taken her umbrella. I returned the umbrella with many apologies. In the evening I went to the umbrella maker, took my five umbrellas and got on the tram to go home.

Project: Analyzing the songs

Hysteria- MUSE

lyrics :

It’s bugging me
Grating me
And twisting me around

Yeah I’m endlessly
Caving in
And turning inside out

‘Cause I want it now
I want it now
Give me your heart and your soul
And I’m breaking out
I’m breaking out
Last chance to lose control

Yeah it’s holding me
Morphing me
And forcing me to strive

To be endlessly
Caving in
And dreaming I’m alive

‘Cause I want it now
I want it now
Give me your heart and your soul
I’m not breaking down
I’m breaking out
Last chance to lose control

And I want you now
I want you now
I feel my heart implode
And I’m breaking out
Escaping now
Feeling my faith erode

I’m in LOVE with this song, and i wish i could listen it for the first time. I really love the lyrics and the bassline.

This song is about being over obssesed with a girl or a guy, and the obessision leaves you with hysteria/anger and not wanting to show it because of previous mistakes or being hurt in the past.

The tune is relaxing and i listen to it when i’m being angry and it help me a lot.

Muse is a great rock band and i suggest you to listen their other songs.
